We'll be upgrading our GitLab instance to version 17.7.3 on Friday, January 31st, 2025, from 9:00 PM to 9:20 PM. There will be short service interruptions during the upgrade while services are restarted.
Important Note: Starting from version 17.7, GitLab uses OpenSSL 3. TLS 1.2 or higher is required for all incoming and outgoing TLS connections. TLS certificates must have at least 112 bits of security. RSA, DSA, and DH keys shorter than 2048 bits, and ECC keys shorter than 224 bits will be unsupported.
